Cancelling appointments or missing deadlines with Court Guinness on the grounds of being sick.
With effect from 12:00 05/01/2023 this will not be tolerated. If you are genuinely sick and miss a deadline or appointment or need to cancel a deadline or appointment on the grounds of being sick then a doctors certificate* must be provided or it will be assumed that you are lying to Court Guinness. In the case that you are caught lying a fee for timewasting will be payable in line with the timewasting policy. Please note it is the employee that is charged for timewasting and not the organisation.
Your cancellation may also be publicised on this website without warning if a doctors certificate is not provided.
